From concept design to...</description><content:encoded>&lt;p&gt;When our production partners were selected to bid for the largest Corporate Event scheduled for 2011 in Australia we were thrilled to be invited to participate in the process.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;From concept design to implementation Alpha Events worked with the talented team at Triumph Leisure Solutions (tls) to deliver the series of four Amway China gala dinners, hosted at The Dome at the Sydney Showgrounds throughout January.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Working with an exceptional team of people throughout the project, the events showcased the best of Australian and International talent, from all production elements to the 300-strong performers engaged to transport the audience to an undersea spectacular. Jason Coleman and the Ministry of Dance team proved once again why they are the best in the business, directing and producing the live entertainment elements of the shows.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Logistics required production elements remain in situ for twenty-one days, no mean feat when you consider the sheer scale of the event and the element of live fish incorporated into our table settings. We engaged the services of our &quot;Fish Wrangler&quot; for the duration to ensure our 750+ live fish were well cared for throughout.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The experience gained throughout the project will prove invaluable for our clients in 2011, with our focus moving offshore for Alpha Events next large-scale Corporate event, &amp;nbsp;scheduled in April.&lt;/p&gt;

The brief seemed...</description><content:encoded>&lt;p&gt;When the CEO of one of our key clients decided it was time for a Global Roadshow, logistics in terms of reaching the audience in a timely fashion was the main issue to address.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The brief seemed simple enough. Deliver an event solution that allowed for communication of key messages in conjunction with the launch of the business strategy for the coming year in person, with the ability to field questions from the audience in real time. Add a celebration post-formalities for all attendees built around the central theme, and we have ourselves a challenge!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We needed immediacy, interactivity and a collaborative approach. Obviously it was time for a hybrid solution - linking a live presence to as many employees as possible with satellite launches held simultaneously to similar centralised employee events.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In building a solution, everything from 3D Hologram technology for live events, through to large-scale Telepresence suites were considered.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;So what technology has been chosen? The first of several key events will kick off in September here in Australia, and we will offer a case study as part of the review process before the roadshow continues into the US and UK. &lt;p&gt;For those that know Alison you will know she is more accustomed to sleeping under 5 Stars, and it&apos;s not certain she has ever graced the inside of a tent on a camping trip, let alone attempting something like this. But as has been said, she will be &quot;sucking it up, princess&quot; and trading the designer bag for a sleeping bag and a couple of pieces of cardboard for the night.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;This annual experiential event is held to provide insight to those who can make a difference to the challenges faced by people who live on the streets, to raise awareness and all-important funds to help alleviate homelessness in Australia.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;The brainchild of and hosted by CIM Associate Publisher, Alex Yeomans, the event guest list featured the power-pack of the Australian and New Zealand MICE Industry at what was a mystery location up until a few days beforehand, when it was revealed we were off to Antarctica to party with the penguins! Proving once again that CIM stand by our Industry in good times and tough times, the night proved to be another extravagant and very personal show of thanks to the guests by our foremost independent industry publication.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
